James Gets a Haircut - December 2010

James Gets a Haircut - December 2010
We drove to get James's hair cut this morning (if you click on the images, they'll open up into a new window, in a larger size - they look nice that way).

We made our way there in the early morning frost and light.

James wasn't the least apprehensive. He generally doesn't know where we're headed anyway when we go for a drive. He just likes to look outside at the things going past.

James got to sit in his favourite train, appropriately named James. There were TVs everywhere on the wall, noises accosted the senses, and James was immediately distracted.

Then he was shown a box full of little toys. He was captured.

While he played with toys, the hair dresser began to snip away.

Mummy occasionally ensured that James wouldn't snap his head around to look at other things.

James was very patient, despite the interruptions to his television cartoon.

His haircut was beginning to take shape within minutes. This was a fast haircut.

Hairs cut, he was brushed off and got to play with a comic book.

Once we got home, he sat by the window with some books that Mummy picked up - 4 for a dollar - at the local library.

He thought about his books, and his haircut and his new slippers from the evening before, and decided that he was having a nice weekend so far...
