January 24 and all of the Hugging

On Saturday my Gran and Grandad came by for hugs.

Then my Auntie Fionnuala and my cousin Tessa came by for hugs.

Soon the entire day disintegrated into a non-stop series of hugs, squishes, and cooing noises.

Following my furry brother Monty's lead, I left them to their own devices and did my best to sleep through it all.

Love,

James

James has a Little Tummy Time

When Daddy got home from work today, Mummy and I showed off how clever I am, and how I am able to practically master the art of tummy time.

Tummy time - for those of you not in the know - is a time when I get to lie down on my tummy and demonstrate my remarkable ability to move my head from facing one way to the exact opposite way.

Suffice to say this requires extraordinary coordination, and energy, and grace.

After a good 3 minutes or so of this - and after a couple of sniffs from my brother Monty, I began to feel tired.

So I had a nap afterwards.

My tummy time demonstrations are quite tiring, but I hope you are as impressed as I am.

Love,

James

James Ozan Peacock

Hello world,

I am James Ozan Peacock. My Mummy went through a long labour and after some consultation with the doctors, I made the decision to emerge in the operating room instead on Tuesday January 6th, 1 minute before midnight.

Mummy is very tired. So is Daddy. He's very proud of me and Mummy. I'll come home from the hospital as soon as Mummy and I are able.

We like the food at the hospital. I get the good stuff. Mummy gets solid food. Daddy takes Mummy's solid food when she is asleep. Daddy is very clever.

Daddy sings amazing, complex songs about the ceiling and the floor and about fingers. Mummy is very warm and has the best voice ever. She is very amazing super great.

Daddy says a Sundog appeared in the sky on my first afternoon in the world. I am led to believe that it was an auspicious sign. I am using big words already.

I've been told that I am looking forward to my first camping trip soon. I will have my own canoe paddle and wool blanket. I'll be popping in from time to time to make an appearance here. But first I am going back to sleep.

If you have the patience, please have a look at some of my pictures. When I am a famous star, these images will be worth millions.

Cheers,

James Ozan
